Lilian Medland. 1st Edition. 2 vols. 4to's. vol1 xv + pp230. vol2 xv + pp259, complete with 35 full-page coloured plates figuring 347 species by Lilian Medland and fold out map to back of vol2. Both volumes bound in original quarter green morocco with gilt decoration to spine over cream cloth boards, bindings in very good condition with a tiny amount of shelf wear to top and tails of spine and a few small scratches to boards. Inside Both volumes all pages with top edge gilt pages in near fine condition. A very good two volume set.
