The text is illustrated with numerous examples of back and white photography. Illustrated boards, with dark brown coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the back strip. The boards are also illustrated as if they have 1/4 back strip and 3/4 illustrated panels. Photographic dustwrapper with brown coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the back strip. The title says it all, with over 200 historical photographs from the birth of photography. A little rubbing of the book corners and back strip corners. A hint of fading to the top edge of the book.
