This collection was nominated for a Bram Stoker Award for best fiction collection, and contains two stories which also won awards. Written by Joe Richard Lansdale, an American writer and martial arts instructor. Considered one of the most respected writers of modern horror fiction, he has also written comic books and screenplays in the genres of Western, science fiction, and suspense. Illustrated throughout by Mark A. Nelson, an American artist whose "carefully articulated" work appears mostly in comic books and graphic novels. In the original black cloth binding. Externally, excellent with light bumping to the head and tail of the spine only. Unclipped dust wrapper also excellent with minor shelf wear to the extremities. Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
