Sobre este artículo
Oakland: The Black Panther Party, 1973. Newspaper. 20p. tabloid format newspaper, horizontal fold, mailing address printed at bottom of cover. Cover story: "Who killed Marcus Foster?" It was done by the Symbionese Liberation Army, but the Panthers are dubious; the article links this attack on Foster with the recent NCLC labeling of Amiri Baraka as a "CIA agent" and the appearance of "an American Nazi Party pamphlet" distributed in San Leandro, warns a new wave of violence is pending. Editorial addresses the seriousness of the attack and the smear by "rumors and suggestions that the Black Panther Party had something to do with the Murder of Dr. Foster..." so that "Defense against attacks...will be the excuse for wholesale military assault." Mentions a letter being circulated by "a so-called Symbionese Liberation Army." Rear cover advertises a set of greeting cards by Emory Douglas.
