Sobre este artículo

Oakland: Black Panther Party, 1972. Newspaper. 20p. illus. tabloid newspaper (12p. plus 8-page supplement); faint horizontal fold. One page in the supplement is printed very lightly, barely legible in the bottom portion. The Panthers had condemned Bill Boyette, a local Black businessman, and urged a boycott because of his refusal to donate to their programs. This issue has a cover story celebrating an agreement they had reached. The rear cover is an Emory Douglas poster depicting a woman holding a grocery bag, with text celebrating unity and calling on readers to resume their patronage of Boyette.
