Cincinnati: Bantu Publishers, 1976. First Edition. VG+ stapled illustrated wraps (5.5 x 8.5) with rubbing and soiling. Author photo on rear cover. 32 pp. Twenty-one poems in this Ohio-born poets first book (he was 23 years old at the time). Poems include Fallacies from Black Childhood, Militancy With Love, Chump Change (Minimum Wage), and poems to Nikki Giovanni, Julian Bond, and Dudley Randall. The year after this publication, Kidd graduated with an M.A. from Atlanta University, where his thesis was entitled, Black Women in the Poetry of Nikki Giovanni. No copies in commerce and 7 holdings per OCLC.
