Clean red cloth boards with black horse on cover, black lettering and horizontal lines on spine. No fraying or wear-through. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Previous owner's first name written large at top edge of front pastedown; no other marks. Pages and edges are clean with gray top-stained upper page edges. Illustrations by Milton Menasco. 330 pages. Clean jacket is not price clipped (2.00 on front inside flap), has slight wear to edges and folds, small scrape on spine (size of pea). Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover..
