1965. STAHL, Ben. BLACKBEARD'S GHOST. Written and illustrated by Ben Stahl. Boston: Houghton Mifflin/Cambridge: Riverside Press, 1965. First edition, with an illustration and inscription to ffep in the author's hand. 8vo., black cloth, with red lettering and decoration, black & white illustrations. Just a touch of bowing to boards, and a hint of wear to cloth at opening corners. Slight foxing to the top-edge, with an occasional faint mark of thumbing/soil internally. Front hinge tender. A very good copy. Stahl's first book.
