Sobre este artículo
The David Company, 1987. First edition, first printing. Flourishing inscription to a young poet and fully signed by Gwendolyn Brooks dated the year of publication in 1987 on the second flyleaf. A seminal title by this poet with prose and poetry. The complete text of her well known titles: A Street in Bronzeville / The Bean Eaters / In the Mecca / Riot / Maud Martha / Annie Allen / and most of "family pictures". Gwendolyn Brooks was the first Black author to win a Pulitzer Prize in 1950. She mainly lived in Chicago all of her life. Fine bright blue boards with gilt titles in like dust jacket with just a light age tone as well as to the block edge. A lovely edition and gift quality. Very scarce. Payment by personal check is required, thank you.
