Sobre este artículo

The Blacksmith of Boniface Lane by A. L. O. E. (nom de plume of Charlotte Maria Tucker).

Hardback, 1891, first edition, illustrated, published by Thomas Nelson & Sons, London, 190 pages with 32-page publisher catalogue at rear.

Octavo/8vo, measures around 7 3/8" by 5 1/2" by 1". Pale blue cloth binding; gilt, yellow, blue and black lettering and detail to front board, same-coloured detail and gilt titles to spine with much discolouration and scuffing, emblem to rear board. Marking and scuffing to binding, signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges; bumped corners, which are a little torn and some tearing to upper and lower spine edges. Book has forward tilt. Some slackness to binding, a little cracking to front inner hinge, some strain to textblock towards centre of book but book contents otherwise reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed and a bit marked and foxed. Some marking to endpapers, Sunday School prize-giving inscription on front pastedown. Some dog-eared corners. The odd mark to page surfaces but otherwise clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
