Sobre este artículo

Edmonton: Institute of Applied Art 1949. (Hardcover) 278pp. Very good, no dust jacket. Signed by the author on the title page. Photographs, maps, illustrations, notes, tables, bibliography, index. A previous owner's inscription on the front endpaper, a small part of the title and sub-title on the title page has been peeled away, and there are one or two pen corrections in the text. Well over one hundred years ago, its surface was dotted with flotillas coming and going and with express canoes hurrying messages and orders to and fro across the Great Lone Land" - from the first chapter of the text. Book about Samuel Hearne, Pierre de La Verendrye & Alexander MacKenzie. Locale: Alberta; Fort Edmonton--Alberta; Northwest Passage; Prairie Provinces; Saskatchewan River. (Western Canada, Exploration, Fur Trade, Northwest Rebellion, Trading Posts).
