Sobre este artículo
New York, New York, USA: William Morrow & Co, 1987. Paperback. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7?" - 9?" tall. Trade Paperback in Very Good Condition. Clean and unmarked gray wraps with red and blue titles, whisper of wear to extremities, tight & solid, square, no creases. Pages lightly toned, very clean, no markings of any kind. This is a troubling aviation safety book, written 1987 but there is a still pertinent message. He describes many crash stories, using his own experience as a pilot and voice and flight recorder data with personal intwerviews on pre-crash behavior. Industry competition subverts the choice of airlines to operate above legal minimums, as they long had done. John Nance suggests that the entire industry--designers, manufacturers, mechanics and the people they work for, and the headsof FAA--needs to be alerted to the role of human factors and human performance in most safety problerms. He outlines a viable course of action for Congress, the FAA, and the airline industry. 416 pages with index. 5.75 x 9 inches. 1987, William Morrow & Co, New York, New York, USA
