New York: Harper & Brothers, Publishers, 1887. Hardcover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 245pp. This copy formerly owned by Harriet C. Hyde, with signature dated 1887, then later owned by John Fowlow Tulk (an Episcopalian minister who attended Trinity College in CT and who passed away in MN in 2013), with his ownership information dated 1956. Edited, with notes, by William J. Rolfe and Heloise E. Hersey. Several minor bumps, small chips, and worn through areas to extremities of volume, with light to medium wear and light soiling to remainder of cloth. Gilt lettering to spine and front cover remains clear and bright. Frontispiece of Browning, with original protective tissue in place. Two previous owners neatly inscribed their information in ink to front free endpaper, else, text clean.
