This fascinating ex-library book on the Civil War through the eyes of the newspapers comes in a dust jacket encased in a clear mylar jacket and if it wasn't for the normal library sticker at the base of the spine, the jacket would be in like-new condition. The interior book has the library card and another sticker attached to the front cover's inside fly page and the remains of the "Discarded" stamp inside the front cover on the dust jacket flap but outside of those few distractions, the rest of the book has no further visible extraneous markings and thus all the printing and illustrations are in very well-preserved and enjoyable condition.
