Sobre este artículo
London: HarperCollins, 1999. First edition. Cloth. Fine/Fine. 9" by 5.5". Not Stated. An excellent first impression of this novel by Patrick O'Brain in the popular 'Aubrey-Maturin' series, enclosed in the original dust wrapper. The twentieth and last completed novel in the popular 'Aubrey-Maturin' historical series by Patrick O'Brian, the first edition, first impression, an extremely pleasing example of this work. The Aubrey-Maturin series is the author's most renowned work, comprising of twenty completed novels and one unfinished. The story follows that of naval officer Jack Aubrey and naturalist, physician, and spy Stephen Maturin, and in particular, Aubrey's ascent from lieutenant to rear admiral in the Royal Navy. Set during the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. Including a full page illustrated diagram of a square-rigged ship. With the unclipped dust wrapper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Fine
