Octavo. #98/.200 copies signed by the author,with afterword written by Henry Miller (originally written in 1941) 128pp. specially bound in light blue paper covered baords backed in black leather, spine lettering gilt, some fading to top and bottom edges, two corners bumped. A very good copy in near fine unclipped pictorial dust jacket. "The only book by an American which deals with les amourettes and gives to these little passing loves the proper frame and frangrance....he gives credit to Powell's understanding of the erotic in an era when directness was not only frowned upon but could bot be published in the US.
