Norris-Newman's accounts of the Zulu Wars and the First Boer War, from his observations as a war correspondent, are now irreplaceable. The boards have some wear to all edges and seams, knocks to the corners, scuffing and rubbing to the faces and spine. The boards and spine are healthy and sure. The frontis and end papers are marked from handling and storage. The contents are placid and mild-mannered. Page 75/6 has an open tear to the bottom corner - the text is unaffected.
