Illustrator: Jason Studios. 213 pages, last blank, 2 pages following with further publications from Whitman Publications and last page blank. Illustrated endpapers showing Hoss carrying wood into a cabin. The text is illustrated by pale yellow coloured illustrations throughout the book by Jason Studios. Photographic front board, showing Michael Landon as Little Joe and Dan Blocker as Hoss, against a green background with white and black writing on the front panel and spine. On the spine is a small television screen with " authorised adventure " surrounding it. Black illustration of a Western scene on the back panel. There is heavy bumping and rubbing to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the book corners. Shelfwear to all book edges and rubbing to all book edges. Browning and foxing to the paper edges. The book panels are rubbed and slightly grubby. There is lifting of the laminate to the top right hand corner of the back panel and to the front panel halfway down, closest to the spine. The internal pages are brown and have the occasional foxing spots. An authorised story from the 1960s TV series -- Bonanza. In this story Hoss rescues a Puma ( mountain lion ) with interesting results. This is the First USA Edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
