Cloth covers quite dusty from age and fore-edge is darkened from what appears to be black marker--pages themselves are unaffected. Illustrated title page, eight plates, endpapers by Kurt Wiese. The story of an American Buffalo told through an old hunter's story. Author was a famous naturalist and hunter. A scarce title, no name or book-plate, etc. Though cloth is soiled book itself is well bound and internally clean. A near good or better copy of the stated first edition.. First Edition. Cloth. Near Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
