Original white cloth on boards with gilt titles, trim and Belgain emblem of the gilt Lion and the Crown on green background. Cover with light dusting of soiling and rubbing. Edges: top-edge gilt still shiney with mild rubbing; moderate foxing to edges. Signature to head ffep. Frontis: coloured plate of La Grande Bretagne Accueille Les Refugies Belges by Andre Cluysenaar. Faint and few only foxing to a few pages, albeit mostly to the margins. Several pages are conjugated at fore-edger. All coloured plates are clean & intact. Binding is VG+ 393p. First Edition. Hb. VG/None.
