Contemporary full straight grain morocco, raised bands, spine in six panels, title in gilt to second panel, covers with triple fillet border in blind, gilt roll to inner edges, a.e.g., primrose chalk endpapers. Rubbed to extremities, very lightly foxed to edges of text block, split developing from foot of front outer joint, internally quite bright and clean. The Psalms are by Tate and Brady, published in the same place and year. From the library of Lord Eldon, with his name to front pastedown. Griffith 1853 (7) (though with register A-Rr8, Ss4). Reprint. Full Morocco. Good. 8vo.

Temple Rare Books is a division of Temple Bookbinders, which has been established for nearly twenty years. The bookshop is based within the bindery building. It is open between 10am and 4pm weekdays, any other times by appointment. All books listed on the website can be examined here, but please let us know first if you are travelling, so that we can make sure it is still available. Not all of the books in the shop are listed on the website. We are members of the PBFA and ABA and exhibit at several of their book fairs, please see our fairs / events page. We attend many auctions and are happy to execute commission bids on your behalf.
