BCP unpaginated, collates as A - S (in 16s) + T (8 leaves). O signature (in the Psalter) lacking. Psalms and Hymns: 271 pages, collates as T9 - Dd16 (in 16s). Separate title page present. Additional Hymns: 52 pages with independent signatures and separate title page. A variant of Griffiths 1868/18. Bound in contemporary full maroon pebble grained morocco with blindrolled borders on front and back. Spine with five (false) raised bands and "Common Prayer" in gilt. Two original ribbon markers present. One attached. Covers lightly rubbed and bumped. A nicely bound Civil War era American Book of Common Prayer.
