Contains black and white illustrations and plates throughout. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Thumb-marking present. Noticeable creasing to gutter. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Visible tanning to spine and edges. Marks overall. Scuffing to edges. Textblock is shaky.

Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Clipped jacket with major edge wear and visible rubbing. Splitting to joints and visible tearing to corners, edges and spine ends. Fair foxing to interior.

Book condition very good plus, slight rubbing to corners cover edges and hinges, faint spots to end-papers and first and last few pages otherwise very clean throughout. Dust jacked condition very good, rubbing to folds, rubbing and slight crease/chip to corners and spine ends, gift inscription on front inner flap of jacket, price has been clipped. Lovely illustrations by King-Ganteaume and frontispiece by D. Lovern West of what he thinks Space Flight in the future will look like.
