This Set of three Volumes covers "The World's Greatest War" from the events leading up to hostilities through the Treaty of Versailles. This Set is 100 years old and in a Good and readable condition. World War I is important to understand, since out of the aftermath of World War I, the framework for World War II was laid. The contributing authors and editors are listed in the frontispiece of each of the volumes. This Set was edited by Holland Thompson, PH. D., The College of the City of New York. This Set comes with over 1,000 illustrations and was published by the Grolier Society. Volume I and II were printed in 1920 and Volume III in 1921. Each Volume is of similar dimensions to make the set more presentable on the library shelf. The following list are the descriptions of each Volume:
