Hardback, undated and no edition remarks but preface dates from 1925 and believed to be a first edition set, illustrated, published by Caxton Publishing Company, Limited, London.
Volume I - History, Economic Policy - xiii + 305 pages;
Volume II - Economic Policy (continued), General Social Policy, Financial Policy - vii + 344 pages;
Volume III - Financial Policy (continued), Biographies - vii + 354 pages;
Octavo/8vo, measures around 9 1/2" by 6 1/2" by around 2". No dust jackets. Red cloth binding, embossed/blind-blocked, with gilt lettering to front board and a little faded on spines. Minor marking and scuffing to binding but overall very clean and colouring vivid. Small signs of wear, corners a little bumped. Bindings quite firm. Page edges a bit browned and scuffed, with a little foxing and marking. Light foxing to endpapers and the odd mark to page surfaces throughout but otherwise clean, no inscriptions, underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
