Joseph Gluckstein Links was an art historian and son of the furrier Calman Links, where he worked in the business with his father. This title is considered one of the first books on furs for the amateur on the subject. Links was also director of the Hudson's Bay Company and president of the British Fur Trade Association. Signed presentation from Links on the front endpaper: "To Nika Cohn (Cole?), from his old friend and colleague, Jos. Links. April 1957." Near fine (covers bright, contents clean & tight); minor edgewear (some rubbing spine) d/j. $125.00.
