Sobre este artículo

1884 1ed New England Legends Folk Lore Witchcraft Witches Ghosts Occults Drake

'A Book of New England Legends' is a collection of folk lore in prose and poetry from the beginning of the settlement of New England to the late 19th century. Drake believed that story could communicate something about society that science could not, and so, he collected these stories from all over New England to further illustrate the society and culture of New England. His book is divided up into geographical locations giving a short description of the area to set the scene for the poetry and prose of each area.

This 1884 edition includes 112 illustrations by F.T. Merrill.
