The Old Testament prophetical Book of Isaiah has long been recognized as one of the most poetic and melodic portions of the Bible. In this work, noted sculptor and graphic artist Chaim Gross (1904-1991) accentuates these qualities with eleven lyrical watercolors which bring the words of the King James Bible to dramatic, visual life. One of 2,000 copies, of which this is No. 1119.
Moderate and sporadic rubbing along edges of slipcase. Head of spine of binding slightly rubbed. Slipcase in overall good, binding in good+ to very good, interior in very good condition.
