Square octavo in cream colored cloth lettered and lined in gilt and gold. 109 pp. Color frontispiece and additional full page illustrations by A.H. Watson. A toughing, charming book in which the author writes about his little son. From the dedication page: "To Simon from his Affectionate parents Hoping that when he is Old Enough to Read It He will not Uopbraid His Father for having Written It".Generally fine, bright example, hint of foxing to the half-title. In the original dust jacket duplicating the color portrait of Simon on the frontispiece, light soiling, some shallow edge wear and two short closed tears to the rear panel.
