Baring-Gould was - amongst other things - a researcher and collector of folklore. It was this which led to him writing this book, often regarded as one of the seminal works on lycanthropy. First published in 1865, this is the Causeway 1973 edition. A lovely copy. Pages are bright and clean with no markings, inscriptions or foxing. Perhaps the very slightest of age related light tanning to page edges. DJ is unclipped and has only very minor signs of scuffing and one or two nicks. Spine is a little sunfaded.
