Sobre este artículo
All four variants of the gilt-morocco 'ticket' or bookplate of George E. Staehle, Grolier Club 1963-2008. The design is a view of his new house in Short Hills, blocked in gilt on (1) blue-, (2) green-, (3) maroon-, and (4) tan-morocco wafers 43 x 58 mm, as shown. Pristine, as new, unused.
Sets of this kind are vanishingly rare on the market. They are comparable, one might say, with 'plate-blocks' in philately, and much rarer than plate-blocks.
