Referenced in Barron, Anatomy of Wonder 1995, 3-119. "Terse, sparsely written stories, successfully sensational." Bleiler: The Guide to Supernatural Fiction, 1125. Approximately only 650 copies published. Bookplate of Earl and Nancy Kemp on the front endpaper. Earl was an American publisher, science fiction editor, critic, and fan who won a Hugo. Nancy Kemp was a Chicago fan active from the 1940s. She co-edited the SaFari Annuals (aka Who Killed Science Fiction? and Why Is a Fan?) and contributed to a variety of other fanzines. Mild toning to the text block edges. A line of black along the bottom of the cover from old style dust jacket. Near fine in near fine dust jacket with a hint of fade to the pink on the spine panel. A very nice copy.
