Reddish brown cloth hardcover with gold lettering on spine and front cover; volume 50 (L) in the series "Harvard Historial Studies Published Under the Direction of the Department of History...". Very minimal (barely visible) wear; bookplate inside front cover; very small dampstain on lower page edges by spine that is also just visible for the inch or so by the binding of the last few pages.
