Sobre este artículo

New York: Simon & Schuster, 1996. BRAND NEW in perfect condition. Still sealed in the publisher's clear plastic shrink wrap. Purchased by a pop-up/movable book collector from a new book store upon first publication and never opened. Bright, shiny, clean, and square. Flat spine. NO creases. Sharp corners. NO owner's name or bookplate. Fresh and crisp -- obviously never read. 1996. First Printing of the First Edition, with complete number row (10 987654321) on the rear cover. This movable book opens into a delightful three-dimensional carousel of dioramas with intricate pop-ups, transformation slat pictures and lift-the-flaps. Paper engineering by Roger Smith and Helen Balmer. From the rear cover: "Botticellis Venus is singing in the shower. Michelangelo's David is brushing his teeth. Its the most off-the-wall bed & breakfast you've ever seen. Mona Lisa is in the kitchen. Whistlers Mother is warming herself by the fire. And you won't believe the other things you find in this amazing bed & breakfast. A guidebook takes you on a revealing tour of this ten-room house, and - if you need it - a solution key showing the location of all 56 masterpieces of art can be found behind a secret panel." Montanaro (Supplement 1, 1991-1997) p. 56.. First Printing of the First Edition. Hardcover. New in publisher's shrinkwrap. Great Packaging, Fast Shipping.

Sobre About Books

About Books (Genny and Michael Winne, proprietors, formerly of Parsippany, New Jersey) has been selling rare and OP books since 1985. Besides book fairs and mail-order catalogues, long-time collectors and dealers will remember our lengthy For Sale ads in the Antiquarian Bookman and similar magazines. Our inventory of over 40,000 volumes is especially strong in the specialties listed, but contains fine books in a variety of other fields as well. Because most of our books are stored in protective boxes, rather than on shelves, they cannot be viewed as a whole. If you wish to visit us to examine specific titles, please provide 24 hours notice and we will make them available for your inspection. Phone calls to (702) 750-2722 are welcome, but please, only between the hours of 8am and 10pm (west coast time).
