Cleverland: World Publishing, 1947. First edition thus. Hardcover. Fine/very good. First printing of the Wolrd Publishing edition (so stated with "July, 1947" on copyright page), a reissue of the original 1931 Dial Press ediiton published under the title "The Woman Money Buys" (of which we find no copies offered). Hardcover. in maroon paper covered boards. "The story of a beautiful woman who sold herself---body and soul---and lived to regret it...". Generally fine but with the embrowing to the pages as usual with these inexpensively produced volumes. In the original color illustrated dust jacket featuring the (presumably) title woman in a low cut scarley ball gown; short closed tear top edge and minor wear to the extremities.
