FOLIO, 41 pages of text in French, handwritten very neatly, illustrated with 9 original artworks by Lauro (8 in color, one in pencil) (8 fullpage, one just half page in size), half vellum bound by George Bayntun (Riviere), Bath, England (world famous book binder, his name is in tiny gilt on end paper), gilt spine letters. No ownership marks. Final ten pages after text are blank but numbered in pencil. NEAR FINE, some foxing on verso of rear and final pages, top corners gently bumped. More than Rare: Unique.
