Inscribed by the author in black ink on the the title page "Aideen's book / with best wishes / Paul Farley / Middlesborough 98", the author has later inscribed the book again crossing out Aideen and adding at the top of the page "Pat's book / London / 9.vii.09". Winner of the Forward Prize for best first collection. Provenance: from the library of the multi-award winning poet Pat Borthwick.
