Fine in very good dust jacket, short closed tear top corner of front panel.

1955 Copyright. Hardbound. Dust jacket in very good condition, with moderate wear above and at the bottom of the spine, and some minor wear at the ends. There is a small abrasion to the front of the dust jacket. (See picture.) No tears. Book consists of red boards with black lettering. Boards are in very good condition. Bottom spine is bumped and ther is a small dent in the top of the book. The back cover is coming away from the book but is securly attached. There is a small address label with the first name of the previous owner. Pages are clean, not torn and the corners are not bent. Nonsmoking. Proceeds from the sale benefit our local library. Book is rare with Dust jacket.

Author Don Palmer is a pseudonym of Mildred A. Wirt. Mildred Wirt Benson was an American author of children's books, in particular several Nancy Drew mysteries. Writing under Stratemeyer Syndicate pen name Carolyn Keene from 1929 to 1947, she contributed to 23 of the first 25, originally published, Nancy Drew mysteries.
