The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some edg wear, rubbing, bumping and beginning fraying. There is a light slant to the spine of the book. The lettering on the spine of the book has rubbed away. The text pages are generally clean and bright. Both endpapers have some generalized toning. "George Harvey Ralphson (1879–1940) was a writer of juvenile adventure books in the early 20th century. He was best known for his "Boy Scout" series of adventures.
