Sobre este artículo

Akron, Ohio: Saalfield Publishing Company, 1921. First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Graef, R.. No. 12 in the series of scouting adventures written by George Durston & Robert Maitland (pseudonyms for Georgia Roberts Durston) in this popular series for boys published by Saalfield beginning shortly after the formation of the Boy Scouts of America. Though this is a FIRST EDITION, cannot determine printing as there are no other books in the series listed. Unpaginated, no ads for other books, plain frontispiece (artist unattributed). Hardcover 8vo has deep blue cloth over boards stamped with a multiscene image of scouts & lettering in black to front cover & spine. Condition is Near Fine: uncommonly clean & bright, binding straight & strong, pages moderately tanned, commensurate with age & paper quality, heavier around edges. Old gift inscription in blue pen inside front cover, else unmarked. The unclipped DJ (with cover art by R. Graef) is VG, with some chipping & short, unclosed tears, larger chip from head of spine at back cover intersection; else colorful & bright & protected in new mylar cover free! Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping on all orders received by 2 pm Weekdays (Pacific); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next business day.
