Sobre este artículo

London: Winkast Programming, 1972. Revised Second Draft script for an unproduced film. With manuscript pencil and ink annotations throughout, most substantive.

The adventures of a nine year-old boy who travels from California to Washington DC to patent a bubble gun he has invented, with the hope of eventually impressing his emotionally distant father with his creation. Seemingly planned in conjunction with a novel, also written by Paul Gallico, which was published in 1974. Gallico was best known for the 1940 novel "The Snow Goose," and for the novel "The Poseidon Adventure," which was published in 1969 and the basis for the 1972 film.

From the estate of film producer Elliott Kastner, whose best known credits include "The Long Goodbye" (Robert Altman, 1973), "The Missouri Breaks" (Arthur Penn, 1976), and "Heat" (Michael Mann, 1996).

Set in Portland and Washington, DC.

Ordered but unbound and lacking wrappers, presumably as issued. Title page present, dated November 27, 1972, noted as SECOND REWRITE, with credits for screenwriter Paul Gallico. 174 leaves, with last page of text numbered 169. Mimeograph duplication on blue stock, rectos only, with blue onionskin revision pages throughout, noted as 2nd Rewrite. Pages Very Good.
