Light soil to covers and a little rubbed along the edges. Gift inscription dated 1987 on the first preliminary page. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. A translation of Anton Chekhov's short story of two Russian boys who plan to run away to America. First published in 1887, this is considered one of Chekhov's best short pieces of fiction. This children's edition is illustrated in colour. .
