Hardcover, no dustjacket, beige pictorial cloth, features a frontis portrail of Pike with the tanned original tissue-guard and several other illustrations throughout, 377 pages + 5 pages of ads for other books, the cloth has age-darkening, especially on the blank rear cover and moderate tanning on the outer edge of the pages, some softening to the spine-ends also, the binding is tight and presentable and the contents are in nice shape .
