Macmillam,, 1895. 8vo., with frontispiece, illustrated title and very numerous illustrations (a number full-page) in the text; handsomely bound in contemporary full tree calf, boards with elaborate gilt frame border, back with five raised bands, second compartment with red leather label ruled and lettered in gilt, all other compartments richly tooled in gilt, marbled edges, marbled endpapers, expertly rebacked with old backstrip laid down, a most attractive, crisp, clean copy. Caldecott's edition was first published in 1876.
