Boston: Wright & Potter, 1901. Hardcover, [lxxvii], 555 pages. Fair condition. Size 10"x7.25". "A historical account written by William Bradford, one of the Pilgrims who arrived at Plymouth Colony in 1620. The book chronicles the journey of the Pilgrims from England to America, their struggles in establishing a new settlement, and their interactions with the Native American tribes in the area. The original manuscript of the book was written by Bradford in the 17th century and was later lost. However, a copy was discovered in the 19th century." Includes engraved portraits w/tissue guards; Index; and two appendices - (Passengers of the Mayflower) & (Commission for Regulating Plantations). Book has exterior wear. Interior hinges are split (showing the mull) but still attached. Paper is moderately browning. Gift inscription on front fly. Interior text is clean and unmarked.. Fair.
