A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked embossed stiff card covers, very slight foxing to rear and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with a little sunning and with rubbing to upper rear corner. 43pp. Quality photographs of the city of Braunschweig in Germany showing its excellent architecture. Interestingly the photos were taken at such a time that only one of them shows a person. Undated ca 1930s.. All text in German. . First Edition. Soft Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. 10 x 7.75 inches.

This delightful photobook features 12 photogravures depicting churches and cathedrals located in what used to be East Prussia before 1945. The photographs depict an outside and inside view of the following places of worship: the Cathedral of Königsberg (now Kaliningrad, Russian Federation); the Cathedral of Frauenburg (now Frombork, Poland); the church of Bartenstein (now Bartoszyce, Poland); the St. Marien church in Elbing (now Elbląg, Poland); and the church of Wormditt (now Orneta, Poland). Minor shelf wear and slight age-toning along edges of wrappers. Text in German, gothic script. Wrappers in overall good+ to very good, interior in very good condition.
