Sobre este artículo

Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged. Break, Blow, Burn: Camille Paglia Reads Forty-three of the World?fs Best Po ems is destined to become a landmark. In it, America?fs premier intellectua l provocateur explores and celebrates a series of great poems of the Wester n tradition, including some surprising discoveries of her own. She brings n ew energy and insight to our understanding of poems we already know, such a s masterpieces by Shakespeare, Donne, Shelley, Dickinson, Lowell, and Plath . She leads us to appreciate the artistry of writers with whom we may not b e familiar, such as Chuck Wachtel and Wanda Coleman. And she hails the song writer Joni Mitchell as a major contemporary poet.
