Beautiful, decorative book; lightly worn boards with very light fraying to cloth corners and light bumps to board corners; 1" round brown discoloration to cover board which appears to be a liquid stain; moderate soiling, specs and scratches to cloth though the decorations are still bright and have very little rubbing; pages are clean with mild foxing to only a few around the edges; no inscription or other markings; a lovely, well-loved copy.. Stanesby, Samuel. Octavo in tan cloth decorative boards with gilt lettering; 37 unnumbered pp., 23 cm. Listed in the Preface are the flowers, and their sentiments, used decoratively throughout the book.
