Sobre este artículo
Hardcover first edition, with dust jacket, published by Doubleday, 1963. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. The story of the visionaries who solved transportation problems with bridges. From the earliest vines thrown across a stream, to the Verrazano-Narrows in New York, across thousands of years of human history, this is their fascinating story. This is not a remainder, not a library discard. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Dust jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. 343 pages with Bibliography, Index, and Appendix, and three sections of black & white photos. Drawings by Jane Orth Ware. Black colored boards with light gray cloth covered spine, with the author name and title imprinted on the spine in black and blue. Boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or creased. Dust jacket has some light crease marks at the top edge and head of the spine, dots of edge wear to the tips of the corners, a small spot of stain on the left side of the front cover about the size of a sesame seed. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
