Sobre este artículo
Providence: Knowles & Vose, 1847. Ichabod Cook (1779-1851) wrote this book to address the doctrinal differences between the Society of Friends and other Christian sects. Judging by his Introduction, he was under attack for his positions. This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the First Edition. Cook wrote two other books; all are uncommon today. Marbled paper-covered boards with a leather spine, ruled; black spine label with gilt lettering. The text is superb: clean, bright, and supple; 171 pages, with an errata page. The covers show some wear, and the front of the spine has a split, but everything is holding nicely. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. First Edition.. Half-Leather. Very Good Plus/No Jacket.
